Lesson Objective - Students will be able to...

•  Identify and compose examples of prepositional phrases.  These will help the students provide more descriptive examples in their writing.  (12a, 12b)
• They will also finish giving their presentations on the use of mood and tone in the stories we have read together over the course of the school year.

Homework -  Students are to continue composing their test essay letter: In a letter to a parent or guardian, briefly summarize the story, “The White Umbrella.” After that, explain how you made a connection with the narrator. Be sure to thank him or her for what he or she does for you. This will be collected on Monday as part of their test.
