Lesson Objectives - Students will start their Vocabulary Unit 7.  They will then be introduced to Collection 6 and its related performance task, writing an argumentative essay.  Students will discuss the specific skills they need to gain over the course of the the new unit.  They will then explore the concept of theme and how it is related to the message authors provide to the reader.
Homework - Think of a recent movie you have seen.  Provide one example of a Life Lesson theme as well as a Human Nature theme.  This is due on Thursday, December 4th.
