Lesson Objectives - Students will make graphic representations based on the words from Vocabulary Unit 7. They will then continue to explore the concept of theme and how it is related to the message authors provide to the reader. Students will apply this concept to an excerpt from "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer."
Homework - Students will have a quiz on Vocabulary Unit 7 and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer tomorrow.
