Lesson Objectives - In various groupings, students will discuss and find text evidence that best describes Louisa May Alcott's nursing experience in her work "Civil War Journal."  They will individually develop a written response that uses direct quotes from the author.    
Homework - Class work pages 8-10 and 1-5 are due tomorrow.  Any late work (Reader Response Packet, Notes With Quotes quiz) is due on or before that day as well.  
Achieve 3000 - Complete the following assignments before midnight on Monday.  This marking period, students are responsible for these assignments.
  • "Freeing the Slaves"
  • "Olympic Highlights"
