Lesson Objectives - Students will finish the 3rd unit in the vocabulary series.  They will then create and present their modern retelling of the "Arachne" myth using modern day celebrities/sports figures.  Students will also begin looking at the second Embedded Assessment, which is due at the end of next week.
Homework - Students are to bring home the purchase form for the vocabulary book.  This form and the $9.00 to pay for the book are due by this Friday.  Students should also continue working on October's RRS.

  • CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.7.1 Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
