Parents, Guardians, and Students: Today is the first day of the 3rd marking period.  Any missing or late assignments from the 2nd marking period are due immediately for partial credit.  Tomorrow is the last day I can accept these assignments.

8th Grade

Lesson Objectives - Since we haven't met in over a week, we will review the story "Rules of the Game."  Students will then make comparisons between the experiences of the character with their own.
Homework - Interview Question for a parent:  How similar or different is your parenting style from the one your parents used when you were growing up?  Explain with examples.

7th Grade

Lesson Objectives - Students will create and present an example of an outline (with main idea, subheadings, and examples.)
Homework -Answer the following in a paragraph:  How are the challenges faced by today's immigrants similar/different than those faced by the immigrants in the story?  Explain with examples.
