Lesson Objectives - Students will receive their vocabulary books today and will begin working on the first chapter. They will then finish giving their summer reading presentations from last Friday.
Homework - Ask a parent/guardian this interview question: "As an adult, does peer pressure still play a role in how you live your life? Why or why not? Explain with examples."
Remember, the student is responsible for writing a summary of the
response, not the parent/guardian. Submit on loose leaf paper.

Achieve 3000
You will have to work on two articles in Achieve 3000 every week on your own. You can do this at home or during class once you have completed your assignment.
There what you do....
- Log in to A3000
- Click on the assigned article. You may have to scroll to find it.
- Complete the "Before Reading Poll" first
- Read the "Thought Question," but but don't answer it until you have finished reading the article
- Click on "Article" and read it
- Go back and complete the "Thought Question," then move on to the "Activity"
- Check the Important Due Dates above to see when the assignment is due
