Lesson Objectives - After some practice with the words in the first vocabulary unit, students will then examine the author's use of sensory details from the story "Seventh Grade." They will then complete their presentations from the first summer reading project.
Homework - The second summer reading assignment is due tomorrow.

Achieve 3000
You will have to work on two articles in Achieve 3000 every week on your own. You can do this at home or during class once you have completed your assignment.
There what you do....
- Log in to A3000
- Click on the assigned article. You may have to scroll to find it.
- Complete the "Before Reading Poll" first
- Read the "Thought Question," but but don't answer it until you have finished reading the article
- Click on "Article" and read it
- Go back and complete the "Thought Question," then move on to the "Activity"
- Check the Important Due Dates above to see when the assignment is due
