Lesson Objectives - Students will make their flash cards for Vocabulary Unit 2.  They will examine ways to incorporate the author's words while answering close reading questions based on the text.  Finally, students will continue to apply the concepts of plot structure, characterization, and theme to the short story, "My Favorite Chaperone." 
Homework - The quiz on "My Favorite Chaperone" is tomorrow.  Students are continue reading their book in order to complete September's Reader Response Packet which is due on Monday, October 2nd.
