Lesson Objectives - After analyzing another brief sample of a narrative essay, students will begin brainstorming and pre-writing their own examples.

• Embedded Assessment #1 - Write a personal narrative about a significant incident in your life in which you had to make a choice:

• Describe the choice.
• Explain the consequences of that choice.
• Reflect on what you learned as a result of this experience.

Homework - Begin  your Embedded Assessment Essay Rough Draft - Have your exposition and beginning rising actions ready for tomorrow's class.
