Lesson Objectives - Students will start Vocabulary Unit 3. They will then analyze the structure of "Names Nombres" and break it down into an outline form. Students will begin planning their own personal essays based on this outline and the topics they have chosen.
Homework - Students can make Vocabulary Unit 2 quiz corrections for homework credit. They will also begin organizing and writing their personal essay rough drafts. The completed rough draft should be between 1 and 1/2 to 2 sides of a page total.

Achieve 3000
You will have to work on two articles in Achieve 3000 every week on your own. You can do this at home or during class once you have completed your assignment.
There what you do....
- Log in to A3000
- Click on the assigned article. You may have to scroll to find it.
- Complete the "Before Reading Poll" first
- Read the "Thought Question," but but don't answer it until you have finished reading the article
- Click on "Article" and read it
- Go back and complete the "Thought Question," then move on to the "Activity"
- Check the Important Due Dates above to see when the assignment is due
