Lesson Objectives - Students will be able to...

• Identify "The Richer, the Poorer" as a modern fable.
• Compare/contrast this story with "Ant & Grasshopper."
• Begin to compose their own modern or traditional fable in a group setting.  Students will present their original works on Thursday.

Homework - In a paragraph, answer the following:  Think of a family member.  In what ways are your personalities similar/different.  Explain with details.
