Parents, Guardians, & Students: Welcome back! I hope the break gave you time to recharge your batteries. We are now entering "crunch time" as we wrap up the second marking period. Please be aware that there are only 44 days left until we take the DSTP in English and Math!
Lesson Objectives - Since we lost a few days before the break, we will use today as a make-up day so that students can get caught up on old assignments. We will continue with new material tomorrow.
Homework - Class Work Packet pages 7-13 and the December Reader's Response Sheet are due no later than Thursday, January 7th.

Achieve 3000
You will have to work on two articles in Achieve 3000 every week on your own. You can do this at home or during class once you have completed your assignment.
There what you do....
- Log in to A3000
- Click on the assigned article. You may have to scroll to find it.
- Complete the "Before Reading Poll" first
- Read the "Thought Question," but but don't answer it until you have finished reading the article
- Click on "Article" and read it
- Go back and complete the "Thought Question," then move on to the "Activity"
- Check the Important Due Dates above to see when the assignment is due
