I am back! Mr. G. sent me a positive report regarding the behavior of the students and the amount of work that they accomplished. We will maintain our momentum with the following lesson:

Lesson Objectives: Students will be able to...

• Compare/contrast their personality traits, environments, attitudes, etc. to those found in the main character of the story "Seventh Grade."
• Find examples where the author used sensory details to make the setting more vivid.
• Explore the concept of theme and how it relates to the present story.

Homework: Prepare for tomorrow's test on the story "Seventh Grade." Also, make sure your class work pages 1-6 will be ready for collection on Wednesday.
