Homework - The April RRS is due on Friday.  Please turn in any quiz or test corrections for additional credit.

Lesson Objectives - Students will be able to...
  • look over yesterday's Vacabulary Unit 7 quiz and make corrections.
  • finish their presentations of their individual cause/effect chains.
  • analyze the story elements of rising action, climax, falling action, and conflict with the story, "An American Childhood."
Homework - Students will get their Vocabulary Quiz corrections signed and returned for credit.

Lesson Objectives - Students will be able to tell the difference between active and passive voice in their writing.  (Pages 3a-3d)  They will also be able to change examples of passive voice so that the response is now in active voice. 

Homework - Students can start writing their essay rough draft for Friday's test on "The Noble Experiment." The response is to be no less than two sides of a page.  I will be looking for an introduction and body paragraphs.  The essay topic is as follows: Describe a personal challenge and how you overcame it.
